Tom McCallum
Is well known in the international real estate community, having spent his entire career as a Chartered Surveyor and Property Consultant based in the UK, Canada and the US.
In 1990 he became founding shareholder and Managing Director of Richard Ellis (Canada) Inc., the world’s largest international real estate services firm and later founded and managed Deloitte’s real estate advisory practice in Canada. In 2008, he was co-opted to initiate the real estate investment and lending operations with International Finance Corporation, the private sector bank of the World Bank, in Washington DC. In this capacity, his team built a debt and equity “book” of over $1.5B, in support of the development of residential and commercial projects worth more than $10B across the globe. His primary regional specialties are Latin America and the Caribbean, and Sub-Saharan Africa. Tom is currently a senior advisor to IFC on new projects and represents the institution on two advisory boards.
